The catalog is overwhelmingly dresses. Of 3,791 live listings on October 15, 2026, 2,796 were dresses and 292 maternity. Tops, jumpsuits, skirts, trousers, lingerie and swimwear share the remaining 703.
Almost everything is own-brand. 3,730 of the 3,791 descriptions carry the line "Designed exclusively by Club L," and 2,350 listings are tagged with a UK country of origin.
Fabric is synthetic by default. The two most common composition tags are 95% polyester with 5% elastane on 1,550 listings and 100% polyester on 1,458. Nine listings are tagged 100% cotton.
The brand's own care guide says what that means in practice. It advises dry cleaning or hand washing, warns that sunscreen can fade and stain fabric, and notes that sequins may shed over time.
Turnover is fast. 466 listings were published in the 30 days to October 15, 2026, and 719 went live in July 2026 alone - a pace closer to fast fashion than to a heritage label.
One detail is unusually good. 3,562 descriptions state the model's height and the size she is wearing, which is a better fit signal than most stores at this price publish.
Pricing: the median dress is $160, and the markdowns carry the value
Full price is not cheap. The midpoint listing across 3,791 items was $160 on October 15, 2026, the range ran $20 to $650, and 1,108 listings sat between $150 and $199.
The budget shelf is thinner than the navigation suggests. 793 listings were priced under $100 and 91 under $50, per the same feed.
The sale rack is effectively a second store. 817 listings carried a markdown, the median cut was 57% off list, the deepest was 87%, and the median marked-down price was $60, by our arithmetic from the listed prices.
Maternity prices a little lower. Across 292 maternity listings the midpoint was $140 against a $160 midpoint for dresses overall, with a $40 to $390 range.
Discount programs do the rest. The site offers 15% off a first order for a newsletter signup, plus student, 16-24 and essential worker discounts, each verified through a third party.
Tax is handled at checkout. The terms state prices include sales tax where applicable, and the shipping page states all customs and duties are included on US orders.
The size chart goes to US 20; the US catalog does not
The About page claims "inclusive sizing," and the published size guide backs it up: eleven rows, US 0 through US 20, with bust, waist and hip measurements in both inches and centimeters.
The US catalog does not match that chart. US 18 and US 20 appeared on zero of the 3,791 live listings on October 15, 2026.
The two sizes above 12 that do exist barely exist. US 14 was offered on 147 listings and in stock on 21. US 16 was offered on 72 listings and in stock on three.
The core range is healthy by comparison. US 4 and US 6 appeared on 3,722 and 3,730 listings, each in stock on roughly 77% of them.
Stock thins as the number rises. US 12 was offered on 3,404 listings but in stock on 2,126 - 62%, the weakest coverage of any core size, by our arithmetic.
Across the whole store, 16,225 of 22,433 size variants were available, or 72.3%, and 382 listings had no size in stock at all.
The navigation still advertises a "Size 16+" sale filter. Read against the feed, that filter points at a shelf holding three in-stock variants.
Shipping is never free, and returns are not either
There is no free-shipping threshold on the US store. Standard is $10 for 5-7 working days, Premium $18 for 2-3, and Next Day $39 if you order before 11:30am ET, Monday to Thursday.
The duties line is a real advantage. On a UK-shipped order, "all customs and duties are included" removes the surprise bill that catches US buyers on cross-border fashion.
Next Day has exclusions. The page names APO, FPO and DPO addresses and some offshore islands, and puts Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska on a two-day service.
The return window has two stages. You have 14 days from receiving the order to register a return, and the parcel must reach Club L within 28 days of delivery.
US returns are not free. The returns FAQ states a "subsidized return shipping label fee" is deducted from the refund. The store does not publish the amount of that fee on any page we read.
Final sale is the wider exclusion. Items marked final sale, pierced jewellery, cosmetics and underwear cannot be returned, and 930 of 3,791 listings carried a final-sale tag that day.
There are no exchanges. The FAQ says so plainly, so a size swap means refunding, paying the label fee, and rebuying at whatever price is live when you get there.
Refunds are slow by current standards. The store allows up to 10 working days to process after your parcel arrives, then 5-10 working days for the money to show in your account.
Each order must go back separately. Combining two orders in one parcel still incurs two return fees and delays the whole refund, per the same FAQ.

The average is 4.89 out of 5. The distribution is the story: 3,042 five-star, 228 four-star, 62 three-star, and not one entry below three stars.
Every entry carried the status "approved." None were flagged as incentivized, and 3,194 of the 3,332 came from a verified reviewer, which is a good ratio.
Most of it is not from the US store. 2,367 of the 3,332 entries were syndicated from another Club L account, and several are written in Dutch or price the dress in pounds.
Trustpilot tells a different story. The brand's profile at clubllondon.com showed a 4.6 TrustScore from 28,169 reviews on October 15, 2026, with 79% at five stars and 10% at one star.
The gap is the point. A feed with zero one-star entries sits on the same page as a widget that says, in its own words, "Showing our 4 & 5 star reviews."
The three-star reviews are the useful ones. Across the 62 we read, the repeat complaints are fit at the shoulder and bust, dresses running long, heavy fabric, and colors reading differently than on screen.
Sizing opinion splits rather than leans. "True to size" appears in 242 of the 3,332 entries, "size up" in 53 and "size down" in 47 - close enough that the measurements matter more than the consensus.
Refund speed shows up by name. One three-star review dated September 6, 2026 describes an easy returns process followed by more than two weeks of waiting for the money to reach the bank.
