Home Unpacked exists because most home product reviews just repeat the spec sheet. We go further: build, warranty, the cheaper model beside it, and what owners report months in.
If a $25 pan outperforms the $150 one, we'll tell you - and when something is genuinely worth the splurge, we'll tell you that too.
How we review
No product gets scored off a spec sheet alone. We compare build, price, and warranty against the cheaper model beside it, weigh what long-term owners report, and then rate each one 1 to 5 on ease of use, features, value for money, and support. The overall score is the average of those four on a 10-point scale, where above 9.0 is outstanding and 8.5 is excellent.
Our independence
Some links are affiliate links, and a purchase through one may pay us a commission. That is what pays for the products. It does not pay for a ranking - when the twenty-five dollar pan beats the hundred-and-fifty dollar one, that is what the page says.
